My Frankendress lives! I woke up on Saturday with such a clear idea of the dress I wanted to make and combined 4 patterns to make it happen.
Really loving shopping for RTW pieces that will fit into my me-made wardrobe at the moment. I’ve always loved shopping but don’t miss the days of trawling the shops hoping to fit into something off the rack - these days if I buy RTW it’s a quality piece that will fit into my style, not the other way around! This is my new vest friend from @monki 💚
Ad|PR 🌿 Another “aha” moment in my sewing journey recently was finding my place in the sewing community. I used to think I had no useful advice to offer as a beginner but here’s the thing - every single part of your sewing journey is helpful to someone else!
Something has suddenly “clicked” recently with my sewing practice. I can’t quite put my finger on it but my fabric and fitting journey feels on a roll and I’m loving it 🥰 If you’re on the same path (it takes time!) here’s a couple of things that have definitely helped me:
